Our Story

Let’s Fika began in Abu Dhabi in 2021, with two friends, an Emirati and a Swede, and a shared love for good food, meaningful moments, and bringing people together.

What started as a fun little project, baking Swedish treats for family and friends, soon became something more. One order led to another, word spread, and what was once a small passion project began growing into something we hadn’t quite imagined.

Inspired by the Swedish tradition of fika, we wanted to share more than just cakes and pastries. We wanted to bring a little piece of Sweden to Abu Dhabi, celebrating the simple pleasure of slowing down, sharing something delicious, and enjoying the company of others.

Today, we’re continuing to grow, bringing more of our favorite Scandinavian bakes to your tables, gatherings, and everyday moments. From our signature cinnamon and cardamom buns to our beloved Princess Cakes and gooey Kladdkaka, every creation is a little celebration of the traditions that inspired us.

And while a lot has changed since those early days, the heart of Let’s Fika remains the same: good food, good company, and a little something sweet.
